Project Manager

  • Permanent
  • Task Grade: 14 (Subject to Job Evaluation results)
  • Annual Basic Salary: (R 568, 905,65 – R 738, 492,15) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to PMU Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Civil Engineering/and or Environmental Studies
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Certificate in Project Management
  • Code B driver’s license
  • Computer literacy (MS Office) Certificate

Key Performance Areas:

  • Give inputs into the section, Water Project Policies, Procedures, Systems and Controls
  • Formulation of specific contracts and tender documents and controls.
  • Implements the professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with projects/contracts
  • Analyses and evaluates the deliverable phases of existing Water projects associated with the provision of Water services to communities.
  • Give input in preparing capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations
  • Interacts and represents the sub-section on Stakeholder Management and Communication aspects
